First Aid Management of Anaphylaxis
Course Overview
This course provides participants with the knowledge and skills to assist an individual with a severe allergic reaction by the administration of an EpiPen until medical aid arrives. It also develops skills in the recognition, management, prevention and risk minimisation strategies so as to develop and implement a management plan to reduce the risk of severe allergic reactions.
This Victorian Registration and Qualifications Authority Accredited course is recognised by the Secretary for the purpose of the Children's Services Regulations 1998. The course is facilitated by St John Ambulance.
