Course Overview

Having the skills to act quickly and confidently in an emergency situation could see you save the life of someone you care about.

Life Saving Victoria's Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) programs are delivered by trained and helpful professionals who will guide you through the courses in an easy to understand manner. This course equips individuals with the necessary skills to act confidently in an emergency situation. You never know when the skills acquired through this course will help you save the life of someone you care about.

Reaccreditation courses are designed for those who have already completed the full course and their award is due to expire.

The CPR Update component, takes just two hours of your time to reinforce your skills and update your qualification for another 12 months.

This course equips individuals with the necessary skills to act confidently in an unexpected emergency situation.

This program includes casualty assessment (DRABCD), covering both one and two operator CPR. Techniques for adults, children and infants are included.

The course is provided in partnership between MSAC Institute of Training - RTO # 21761and Life Saving Victoria RTO # 21799. It is delivered and assessed by MSAC Institute of Training under license agreement with Lifesaving Victoria who enrol and certify the students.

Prerequisites

A valid CPR qualification.

The Level 2 First Aid Level qualification is valid for 3 years but in order to keep this qualification current, you must have a current CPR qualification at all times. CPR qualifications must be updated annually.
