On July 23rd 2010 the State Sport Centres Trust in conjunction with the MSAC Institute of Training held the first SportFutures Information Session at Sports House.  This session offered a chance for people looking for employment and education within the sport and recreation industry to find out some of the options available across the State Sport Centres Trust.

 This session offered a chance for people to meet the Managers of areas which they hope to gain employment in and discuss the next steps in terms of training and qualifications required.

The Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre is expecting to hire a variety of trainees who attended this session in the areas of Swim School, Health and Wellness and Lifeguarding.
